My name is Adam McMahon and starting in Fall 2026 I will be joining the Department of Political Science at Villanova University as an assistant professor. Previously, I was an associate professor in the Department of Government, Politics, & Law at Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. I study the American presidency, national and homeland security, and American political development. I reside in New York City.
